Would you let your child wear a onesie printed with Kate Moss' 2009 quote, "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels"? Photo from The Huffington Post.
So, which stars are coming out with baby products? Not necessarily A-listers. But don’t worry too much. Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are still busy designing perfume lines.
But perhaps baby gear lines associated with the aforementioned celebrities might be better than Kate Moss’. While Moss is not a designer, onesies bearing her 2009 quote — “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” – can be found in stores. The design is not exclusive to babies, however; adults and children can wear it too. Just because it’s there, that doesn’t mean you or your child need to wear this eating disorder-promoting slogan.
On a similar but stranger note, Snoop Dogg and David Beckham are next in line for designing baby clothing. Although no designs have appeared as of yet, this odd duo that met on reality show Father Hood plan to start creating a line. Based on both of their personalities, what do you think a line of Beckham-Snoop Dogg baby gear would look like?
For a more usable product, PetitNest was designed by Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen when she couldn’t find nursery décor to match her tastes. While the rest of us average parents don’t have this luxury every time the endless pink and blue items become boring, Thiessen and design partner Lonni Paul, a finalist on show Design Star, put together a line of baby furniture, wall décor, and bedding.
